Over wintered nucs, and prepping for winter, is what you have to prepare for to get your honey bees through the winter. Overwintered bees can be a challenge, but study up, and watch our YouTube channel for how to beekeeping. We have a video coming up next week with a detailed strategy of how to prep your bees to get them through the winter.
Please note that the dead bees on the lid was from where they got under a lid that wasn't put down good, and bees got into feeder, and drown. New beekeepers please note we have close to 300 videos for educating new, and advanced beekeepers.
