I hated to do it ... but I actually bought a beehive super box from LittleGiant. It accomodated my present problem, but hopefully I won't need to do that very often. It is much more fun to make things in the shop. (I think)

If you are handy, the pre-made boxes that you assemble are great. Dadant is one of the best for that.
