Description

I generally start to prepare my Host Hive for Queen Rearing about a month before so that there can be number of brood frame bees hatching for a HUGE amount of nurse bees required

To help build up extra nurse bees, I have taken a frame of brood & nurse bees from 3 separate Nuces, & placed in the top super, a maximum of 10 days before taking home

That brood frames were checked for rogue queen cells & destroyed

This hive will be transferred home, as it is a lot easier to do my queen rearing there

My program for queen rearing is written up & printed before I start, so that no detail is missed – whatever has to be done on the day has to be completed, on that day, hail, rain or sunshine
